Description
This delightful picture book tells a story of Sir Walter Scott's children playing hide and seek in the gardens of Abbotsford in the Scottish Borders, while hunting for a lost necklace. It features several dogs that belonged to the family of Sir Walter Scott including the Dandie Dinmont Terriers Mustard and Pepper, a Red Setter, a Deerhound cross (Sir Walter’s favourite dog) and a greyhound. Written by Alasdair Hutton, the 'voice' of the Edinburgh Tatto and beautifully illustrated by Wigton-based artist William Gorman.
