Description
The Historia Regum Britanniae, or History of the Kings of Britain, was written in around 1136 by Geoffrey of Monmouth. Although it purports to be history, it has long been considered thoroughly unreliable and a literary work of national myth. This book takes another look at Geoffrey of Monmouth’s book and argues that there is verifiable archaeological and historical information to be found there, possibly deriving from a lost British source also used by other Dark Age texts.
