TOWPATH: RECIPES AND STORIES (CHELSEA GREEN)

Towpath first opened its shutters 10 years ago on the Regent's Canal in Hackney. It closes for winter, doesn't offer takeaway coffee (in the hope that people will stay to watch the coots), and doesn't have a phone or website. It is as much a social experiment as an eatery. This is a collection of recipes, stories and photographs capturing the vibrant cafe's food, community and place throughout the arc of its season - from the first breath of spring, through the dog days of summer to Bonfire Night.
