HERONS CRY (TWO RIVERS 2) (PB)

As a rare hot summer stretches out and the tourists crowd the coastline, Detective Matthew Venn is called to an elaborately staged murder in rural north Devon. Dr Nigel Yeo has been stabbed with a shard from one of his daughter’s vases. Matthew is unnerved to find she is a friend of his husband. When another body is found, killed in a similar way, Matthew finds himself treading carefully through the lies that fester at the heart of his community.
