CLARA AND THE BIRDS (HB)

For as long as she can remember, Clara has always been fascinated by birds - where they go, how they take to the air, and the way they immediately fly away from her when she goes near them. Clara herself flees the company of others, to find comfort in solitude. Other people think she’s shy. She thinks avoiding other people shows she’s weak - until she has a chance encounter with a bird which doesn’t fly away from her.
