SURVIVING SKY (PB)

High above the planet float the last refuges of humanity, safe from the earthrage storms. The plant-made cities are psychically shaped by the architects. For Iravan, his abilities are his identity; for Ahilya, his wife, they wrongly confine power to a privileged few. When Iravan is accused of pursuing forbidden knowledge, he needs Ahilya to defend him; she needs him to change their society. As the earthrages become longer, and their floating city begins to plummet, Iravan and Ahilya's discoveries might destroy their marriage, their culture, and their entire civilization.
