SWOOP SING PERCH PADDLE (HB)

A collection of 132 screenprints by renowned wildlife artist Carry Akroyd which celebrates British birds in all their colour and charm, from a party of seed-eating siskins to a peregrine poised high on a cathedral. Originally created for The Oldie’s Bird of the Month column, Carry’s vibrant prints transport us through the seasons and across Britain, from coast to coast and through forests, fields, back gardens and town centres. The illustrations are accompanied by succinct and entertaining texts by John McEwen, the artist’s long-time Bird of the Month collaborator.
