Description
It is 1942 and postman Higgins is delivering seven letters of application to the new military hospital in Heron’s Park, Kent. A year later, Higgins is admitted to the same hospital following injuries from a bombing raid. His inexplicable death from asphyxiation at the operating table casts four nurses and three doctors under suspicion. Inspector Cockrill is called in to determine who committed the foul deeds, and how it was possible to kill with no evidence left behind.
