Description
Summoned from her work monitoring wolves on an Idaho reservation by the eccentric Earl of Annerdale, Rachel Caine finds herself back in the English countryside. The earl's controversial scheme to reintroduce the Grey Wolf to Lake District keeps her busy contending with health and safety concessions, public outrage, and bids for political gain. The return of the Grey Wolf also coincides with her own regeneration: impending motherhood, and reconciliation with her estranged family.
